COMPLETING THE 360 SURVEY
How to give great feedback?

Thanks for your willingness to be involved in this 360 process. Please give your honest assessment to each question without fear of retribution. Your feedback is averaged with other evaluators in your data point (such as employees or peers) to protect your anonymity. At least three evaluators for each data point or segment of responders are required to process the report. The only exception is "boss" and "self" as only one is required for these data points.

Once you have rated the participant on each statement, please take the time to give your honest feedback in the text area. It is important to understand there are three kinds of feedback that you can give and all are important.

Factual feedback can clearly be validated.  For example, you are late for meetings. It is either true or false.

Factual ,Perception & Relational feedbackPerception feedback is open to interpretation.  For example, my manager is unfriendly.  Some might perceive the behavior differently based on their personality and preferences.

Relational feedbackis given by someone who is basing their feedback strictly on the positive or negative tone of the relationship.  Therefore, the feedback is magnified by their relationship with the subject of the 360, and whether or not the two of you like each other. Being subjective rather than objective, this type of feedback is not as helpful to the participant evaluation, but it is still an important part of the evaluation process.

Our goal is to encourage you to give feedback, and more is better. We would rather have pages of feedback even if it is perception and relational than not have feedback at all. However, it is our preference that you seek to give specific, behavioral and objective feedback. This will enable the participant to see the areas they need to improve, construct a plan and develop their leadership effectiveness.

Technical Problems

If you experience technical problems logging in or completing the survey, we encourage you to:
  • Hit the refresh button on your browser
  • Close down your browser and re-open
  • Cut and paste your password (make sure it is all lower case)
Keep in mind you do not have to complete the eLeadership 360 survey in one sitting.  TMI’s software saves data, so you may stop at any time, re-enter the website later and resume where you left off.

However, please note you cannot go back and change answers once they are saved, so take the time to be thoughtful and precise before completing a question.

If you have any questions, regarding the questionnaire or experience any technical problems please email us at 360@tmicentral.com or call us at 1-866-331-6044.
